1. Service Description

VocaUp is an AI-powered educational game generation application that creates interactive learning games from uploaded images or documents. The app supports 29 languages and offers 7 different game types to enhance your learning experience.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using VocaUp, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you are using the app on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate material. VocaUp makes NO WARRANTY regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any educational purpose.

4.1 Understanding Credits

VocaUp uses a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when generating games based on the number of items (questions, pairs, sentences, etc.) you choose to generate.

4.4 Apple In-App Purchases & Billing

VocaUp uses Apple StoreKit 2 exclusively for all in-app purchases on iOS. We do NOT process, store, or have access to your payment details.

Step-by-Step Payment Flow (iOS):

  1. Choose Subscription: You select a subscription tier (Basic, Pro, Premium, or Ultimate) in the app
  2. App Store Dialog: The Apple App Store payment sheet opens within the app
  3. Payment Confirmation: You confirm the purchase using Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password
  4. Secure Processing: Apple processes the payment on their secure servers - we NEVER see your payment details
  5. Transaction Verification: Apple sends a signed transaction to our backend via Server-to-Server Notifications (App Store Server Notifications V2)
  6. Subscription Activation: Upon successful verification, your subscription and credits are activated in our database (Supabase)
  7. Sync to Device: The app syncs with our backend and updates your available credits and tier

What We Do NOT Store:

All payment information is handled exclusively by Apple's secure App Store infrastructure.

Refund Requests:

Refunds are processed by Apple, not by VocaUp. To request a refund:

  1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find your VocaUp purchase
  4. Select "Request a refund" and follow the instructions

Apple's refund policy applies. VocaUp cannot process refunds directly.

4.5 Device-Based Subscription Sharing

How Subscription Sharing Works on iOS:

Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID. If you use Family Sharing, other family members may also have access depending on your Apple Family Sharing settings.

6. Account Deletion

In compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1, VocaUp provides a full account deletion option.

6.1 How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account and all associated data in two ways:

  1. In the App: Go to Settings > Delete Account. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
  2. Via Email: Send an email to info@vocaup.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Include your registered email address.

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your account, credits, and all associated data cannot be recovered.

6.4 Data Deletion Request (GDPR Article 17)

VocaUp is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this app. If we discover we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
